Commercial Epoxy and Flooring

1. UPC – Urethane Polymer Concrete

  • Urethane concrete, or urethane cement, is a 3-part industrial concrete floor coatings that utilizes urethane resin technology to bind engineered cement powder aggregate powders, creating a high-performance floor surface. These industrial concrete floor coatings and toppings exhibit excellent chemical, impact, abrasion and thermal-shock resistance. It can withstand high-pressure power washing, and will outlive epoxy, tile, VCT, and concrete systems in tough industrial settings. Urethane concrete systems are ideal for use in areas subject to thermal cycling from hot and cold water wash downs, such as food and beverage processing and pharmaceutical production areas. UPC floor coatings are the Gold standard in commercial kitchens and breweries.
  • Meets USDA, FDA, EPA, SCAQMD, and VOC requirements
  • Up to 1 inch thick

2. Quarts -Colored Quarts Flooring

  • Colored Quartz floor coating utilizes epoxy, urethane, and quartz sand to achieve a very beautiful finish that is durable, highly impact resistant, and slip resistant.
  • Commonly used around pool decking, driveways, patios, and walkways.
  • Meets USDA, FDA, EPA, SCAQMD, and VOC requirements
  • Up to 3/8 thick

3. Cove Base

  • A cove base turns the 90 degree angle where the wall meets the floor, to a curved radius of 3/8. It makes cleaning around the perimeter exceptionally easy. In California, it is also required per the Health Department.
  • The California Retail Food Code (CalCode) Section 114268 states: Except in sales areas and as otherwise specified in subdivision, the floor surfaces in all areas in which food is prepared, prepackaged, or stored, where any utensil is washed, where refuse or garbage is stored, where janitorial facilities are located in all toilet and handwashing areas shall be smooth and of durable construction, and nonabsorbent material that is easily cleanable. Floor surfaces shall be coved at the juncture of the floor and wall with a 3/8 inch minimum radius coving and shall extend up the wall at least 4 inches.
  • Meets USDA, FDA, EPA, SCAQMD, and VOC requirements.
